Iceland Waterfall

This waterfall sits on a farm just off the main road. Great thing is the farmer is pretty OK with photographers running around his land. I like shooting here as I always find faces looking back at me from the rocks.

Iceland, Svinafellsjokull Glacier

Svinafellsjokull Glacier

Just back from another trip to Iceland. Have never been there in the winter but got lucky and caught a few days with sun and decent weather. Two of my favorite spots to photograph are the glacier in today's image and the Black Sand Beach near the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. 

According to locals the Svinafellsjokull Glacier located in Skaftafell, Iceland has receded almost 150 yards in the last 10 years - I was standing almost at that 150 yard point to make this image....looks like something out of Journey to the Center of the Earth..
