I am leaving on Sunday for a short musical tour of minor league ballparks out in western USA....places like Billings, Casper, Lincoln and points west ending up in the Yakima, Washington on September 4.
Needless to say I will have my camera gear with me, and, who knows, maybe I get a few hours in one of the many National Parks in that part of the world - some of my favorite places to capture images.
But for today this panoramic image is another from the Iceland Trip. Pretty neat how those clouds seem to have found a home over the three separate mountains. My guess - and this is completely unsubstantiated - is that these are dormant volcanoes and there is some sort atmospheric anomaly that causes these clouds to sit like they are.
Anyone got an idea?
