Iceland Reflections

Glacier Reflection 1
Sometimes finding a good image is difficult -  like seeing the trees in the forest....And being on this glorious location in Iceland has similar problems.  I remember my first trip to this spot and being awestruck by the sheer beauty of what was in front of me....Wonderful ice sculptures floating about on the smoothest of water and equally special reflections.....What I learned this time around was to think about the shapes in the image and how they related to each other.....instead of just being in awe of the total structure of the scene....great learning experience this time around....

What I liked about this image was the fish-head shape in the back left and I worked the rest of the composition around this space.....

The header image is detail form today's post.....

  1. Perhaps you can develop new images for the Rorschach tests . I like both versions by the way, but seem to enjoy the cropped one best.
