Three images from the antique car show over the weekend. I really enjoy the shapes on these old cars. They make excellent compositional elements, specifically the straight lines and the round shapes of the front end and tires. The reflective surfaces are an added bonus that really makes it for me.
They do not make them like this anymore - the attention to detail simply does not exist.

Harry: Love these old cars. You'll have to come west for the annual Woody car meets. Fun stuff to shoot.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the special attention to detail on those antique cars. There are some modern cars that can be contenders, but most of them are focused on function and comfort. On the other hand, you get some amazing stuff from the people who customize their cars. Art cars, for instance, have a lot of great designs that look like "wow!" when you see them.
