There is now a purchase prints page on my website, http://harrysandler.com/music-iphone_and_other_neighborhoods/.

The images on the purchase page are from the current gallery show, Music, iPhone and Other Neighborhoods. The show is currently at the Renaissance Fine Art and Design Gallery in Carmel, Indiana and moves to the 20 North Gallery in Toledo, Ohio in October.

This show was built to support 1Matters.org located in Toledo, Ohio. There are a wide range of images in the show designed to raise money and awareness of the homeless situation in this country. Click on the link above for more information.

Happy to say that these two images were juried into a portrait show, PERSONA, at the Darkroom Gallery in Essex Junction, Vermont which opens mid-September.

Driving to Carmel, Indiana today for the opening of my gallery show,  Music, iPhone and other Neighborhoods at the Renaissance Fine Art and Design Gallery. The show will move to Toledo om October 10 at the 20 North Gallery. This show will be images from my 40+ years avocation with photography.

Gallery Open

Gallery, Mercer Street, NYC
This image is from the 'way back time machine', circa 1968, back when cameras used black and white and color film. For those who do not remember this phrase it comes from the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show...They used the time machine to go back and alter historic moments....check out their Wikipedia page....

This photograph was made on Prince Street between Mercer and Greene Street. What we need is a new word for 'capture'...sorry so old school around here...

This image will be part of my gallery show opening on September 10th at the Renaissance Fine Art and Design Gallery in Carmel, Indiana. The show title is 'Music, iPhone and other Neighborhoods' and will have images from my 45 year addiction to the camera...From Indiana the show will move to the 20 North Gallery in Toledo, Ohio. This will be the first time many of these images will be printed and displayed...

Abandoned Hospital

Electrical, Central State Asylum
Long week finally coming to an end. The gallery opening went very well. Renaissance Fine Art and Design has a new location in Carmel on the corner of Range Line Road and Main Street. The new space has very large windows making it easy to see what is currently on display, and, being on the corner makes it hard to miss from 4 directions. Congratulations to Kathleen  on the move.

The Apple Store Music and iPhone Presentation could not have gone better.  It was the first time for me using the iPad2 and it worked perfectly. I was able to work on the iPad and see it on a screen, in this case a very large apple monitor. The only thing missing was the ability to watch the stylus actually touching the screen but a win win as one no longer needs to use a projector.  The personnel at the Apple Store could not have been more helpful.

After the Apple Store a friend took a few of us to the Indianapolis Hospital for the Insane, Central State. This hospital was originally established in 1827 and opened its doors in 1848. The hospital has been abandoned since 1994. I could have spent a few days on this location and do plan to return next time in Indianapolis - so many stories in these old walls.....More images coming...

Finally......

Santa Monica Pier - IP4

OK, finally back to posting on the blog after almost a month. I have been working on several projects including the America's Got Talent Live Tour, my website, and most importantly, printing my first show of IPhone images. The IPhone imagery show, 'Allusions of Reality', is at the Renaissance Fine Art and Design Gallery in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 18th (opening reception 6-8PM).

So, today I am posting several images captured over this past month - some images from America's Got Talent and a first look at images that will be included in the Indianapolis Show.

Majesty Unfolding/Allusions of Reality

In November I will be showing at the Renaissance Fine Art and Design Gallery in Carmel, Indiana. This is a two person show with my good friend Barbara M Ventura. Over the next few days I will be posting artist statements and bio information as it relates to the show.

This post will be the first of many 'shameless promotional' opportunities.
