Roger McGuinn Composite

There are times when one is minding his own business and an idea shows up that must be dealt with immediately - never quite sure why or where it comes from - it suddenly just steps forward. And over the years I have learned to jump on these ideas to see where it takes me.....today was no exception.

This afternoon I was looking through my lightroom catalog and come across this image of Roger McGuinn from the 70's and the idea of putting a texture on the image comes to mind....I went in to the texture folder and the first one that I see works for me - then the idea of text comes into my mind and I was off an running....

I have no idea why this happened but I am glad it did.....Hopefully there are a few more ideas in there....and they are all welcome around here.......

Roger McQuinn, early 1970's, , co-founder of the musical group 'The Byrds'. One of my all time favorite albums, yes albums, was 'Sweetheart of the Rodeo'. Sweetheart, released in 1968, gets credit for being the first country-rock record recorded by a major artist. Special guests on this record were Gram Parsons and Clarence White. Great listen if you have the opportunity.

PS: I know some of you are receiving this blog instead of the iPhone-antics blog. Roger McGuinn

Not quite sure of the actual date (possibly mid 1970's) that Roger McGuinn (The Byrds) stopped by the studio in NY for this image. He was the first person I had met who was involved with the new wireless technology - my memory is a bit vague on what he actually has in hand but I believe it was some type of early wireless communication device.

At any rate this image was for a story being done by either Circus or Zoo World magazine....
