Maine Landscape

Maine Landscape
Looks like today is oldies day on the blogs....This image is circa 2008 when I first made the shift to digital images. The image was made near Cushing, Maine - can not remember what camera or the image management...I do, however,  remember I was in Maine for my fist workshop with John Paul Caponigro...and if my memory serves me well about 5 minutes into the workshop I was lost...

Maine

'Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face, the beauty of the earth and skies that man has inherited, and the wealth and confusion man has created. It is a major force in explaining man to man'.....Edward Steichen

I added a link to a friend and talented photographer, John Barclay on the left side of this blog. Well worth checking out his work.....

Albeit short, I also posted a short piece on the connection of the iPhone Technology to the Pictorial Photographers at the turn of the 20th century on my iPhone blog.

I have been in Los Angeles the past few weeks- the city of Angels.

While here I have been spending time working on images for my show in November.  For the most part the show will consist of IPhone 4 images and a select group of  gold over platinum prints.

The show is called 'Allusions of Reality'  at the Renaissance Fine Art and Design Gallery in Carmel, Indiana. Dates are November 18 - December 31 with an opening reception on November 18 from 6PM - 8PM.
