The Great Midwest

'And they call this the Great Midwest
Where the cornfields grow and flow
They're all 5 years ahead of their time
Or 25 behind, I just don't know'......JohnMellencamp

Greece, OPne More Church

Leaving Greece tomorrow for Frankfurt and then home on Saturday. What else to post today bnut one more church. This church lives high above the sea and would appear to be on a private piece of land, possibly a farm, although in my two visits I have yet to see a human being.

The image below was posted on my iPhone-antics site today - I placed it here so one could get the scale of the church in the landscape.

Woman in Church, Paros, Greece
Having some fun in Greece the past few days. Yesterday we drove the entire circumference of Paros in about 4 hours......Stopped for lunch in a small town and pointed at what we wanted. LOts of white churches with a blue roof, beaches and boats...has rained every day for a few hours but the light is pretty darn good after....Got back to town and was sitting in the church gaden when the woman in this image walked in and sat down....I could not resist......

Leaving for Frankfurt on Friday then back to the states on Saturday.....

Hong Kong

Arrived this morning at 5AM and about ready for some sleep. Not much time for making images today - too busy fighting off jet lag. Did manage to make a few images from the balcony of my hotel room. Hong Kong is quite the bright vibrant city one would expect and quite built up from the last time I was here. Has a bit of the Dubai feel about it......construction everywhere...

Stay tuned for more over the next few days.
