This image is from a John Mellencamp video shoot in Belmont, Indiana (near Bloomington, Indiana). The song was 'Baby Please Don't Go' which was used in the 1994 movie 'Blue Chips' with Nick Nolte and Shaquille O'Neal.

    I see that John Mellencamp borrowed the classic guitar riff that Jimmy Page wrote when he played as a session musician on Van Morrison's version in the early 60s. It's not played anywhere near as well on this version as Page played it on Morrison's. I prefer Page's hard-edged guitar tone and the straight-ahead way he plays the riff. I have always thought that, although he was a blue-eyed, red-haired Irishman, Van Morrison's version of this song is the best ever recorded.
