Ireland Rainbow #2

Ireland Rainbow #2
This image is from two years ago very near the Cliffs of Moher in County Claire, Ireland. These cliffs are just east of Shannon, south of Galway. We were traveling some back roads when the rainbow suddenly appeared. For the most part in Ireland you just stop the car, grab a camera and shoot - there is usually never a place to park..

As it happens quite frequently in Ireland when we arrived at The Cliffs about 15 minutes later the fog had rolled in and the rain was coming down.  On the bucket list for a summer visit...

This is a 5 image panoramic stitched in Photoshop.

  1. Lovely, pastoral image, Harry. You're right about no place to park: most of the back roads are just one car wide. Mind you, there's usually not much traffic, so you're safe enough pulling up for a while. I wonder if the house on the left is inhabited or not. What a place to live. Image opening your bedroom curtains and looking out at that view every morning...
